I would not recommend this video at all. I was hoping for something that I would be able to practice along with and play with the instructor, and in that respect, this totally fails to deliver. It does not come with any music along with the disc, and the display of the music during the video is pretty much impossible to play with past the first few simple songs, because it only displays one line at a time, and doesn't switch to the next line until the exact moment that it's time to play the first note...this simply is not how most people play music and for all but the simplest of songs does not work. To add to the problem, the sound is very harsh and the music slightly off tune. So even when I do play along with the instructor, it sounds terrible! Definitely not at all worth renting, if you are seeking to learn the recorder, look elsewhere.
