This was a well made video but did not hold a lot of new information for me. I have been making patterns for years, and it spent a great deal of time doing each step, literally. Example, cutting out paper with scissors....cut by cut. I would like to have seen a bit more editing and cut to the chase. The other funny thing was at the end, they show these fantastic bucks used for building entire cars! I would show this section first so people cannot wait to see what they will learn. It would be a real motivator.
I found this to be a very useful video with good production value and the structure of the projects making good progression of learning. A little more discussion on annealing would be helpful as in practice it proves to be more difficult than just burning off a sooty panel. Temperature control is key. The English Wheel work and bag work were great!
This dvd was okay, but not that great. It didn't show anything about the hammerforming process at all. I wasn't too impressed with this dvd,but did learn a little here and there.
