This easy to follow, comprehensive DVD lesson by “America’s Dulcimer Champion" David Schnaufer, shows beginning players how to tune up and start playing with ease and confidence. David starts you off with basic scales, fingerings and strumming techniques, and then teaches accompaniments to some of country music’s all-time favorite songs. You’ll learn how to add chords and harmony notes to a basic tune - the perennial favorite Wildwood Flower - and how to make use of hammer-ons, pull-offs and guitar-style picking to enhance the melody. David then teaches beautiful arrangements of the country classics Tennessee Waltz and I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, introducing a wide variety of musical concepts on the dulcimer.
