This is a very good video series for the beginner or intermediate user looking to learn Illustrator. The instructor Deke McClelland has natural instructing skills and puts his humorous spin on every subject. The series is long, 18 hours for both DVDs, I’d recommend renting one DVD at a time unless you’re willing to devote something like a full weekend. Over all I’d rate this instructional series excellent, just like all of Total Training’s instructional videos.
Rented the set and it's a lot of information, but if you've worked with Illustrator CS before, you can gloss over a little of it. I think it's a wonderful learning tool... Deke is kind of a wacky nerdy type, but he's so thorough and easy to understand that you let that slide.
This DVD is Part II of II is well-taught and amusing. It plays on your computer and provides practice files for Illustrator. The 12 lessons play for 25-45 minutes each, and that does not include your practice; so be prepared to spend some time with it. http://www.totaltraining.com/prod/outlines/adobe/illustratorcs2.asp
