This video you will learn techniques to pulling your own dichroic stringers. Step-by-Step making of a Five Piece Glass Sherlock. Video demonstrates how to create Opposing Spirals using purple dichroic, mallard green, and heavy fume of silver to achieve white. You will learn how to use bridges to keep your pipes shape from distorting. Heavily worked from top to bottom and completely hand blown using a torch.

These are absolutly awsome videos the finished product from these artist are outragiously beautiful, the artist takes you through every step. Though harder than they make it look it is acheavable, great for every skill level. although it is definatly advanced work it teaches you how they do it, someone could practice what they do and get it down.all I can say is WOW!!! if you can learn these skills "YOU WILL MAKE MONEY".
Very nice work, only makes one pipe, would have liked to see more. This is worth renting.
Vol. 2 is much better than Vol. 1, covering more universal techniques (pulling points, making dichro cane, and reversals are very well demonstrated) as well as explaining the specifics of shaping a sherlock. Mufasa, the host of Vol. 1, starts the beginner off with some very bad habits. Please don't copy his practices of blowing out paper thin bubbles or pulling thin strands of glass outside your flame unless you want silicosis/mesothelioma within a couple years. Other than that, both are good for nothing less than seeing the process, and Mufasa in Vol. 1 proves even a total knob can blow a pipe with enough practice.
Good video. Could have given more info and some more detail, but well rounded and it really gives you an idea of how everything works. You could take this video and conceivably create good work, with a little practice.

This really picks up where the other left off. Not a basic instruction, but if you know the basics it can really take you to the next level. Excellent info on the dicro, and silver fuming and I really feel I got info I can put to use right away, with even more basic items although they're advanced tech.
I think it was perfect for a second volume, and while the video/audio left something to be desired you probably wont even notice cause of all the awesome info your picking up.
