Clear and effective - This DVD is a great substitute to actually being there.

I can't wait to order part II.

Give you a very accurate and detailed walk through for everything you need to make a guitar. I found it to be exactly what I needed to build my guitar.

Informative DVD, however some prefabbed parts don't let you see the whole process. But with only 9 hours there is no way you could watch the whole process step by step anyway. Overall a good set of DVDs.

This is a good introduction but to much is skipped for time sake.

These videos are just watching a guy make a guitar. Not for someone wanting to know each step in the process. He leaves out a lot of critical steps like how to thickness the top and back. Leaves out a lot of measurements, how to cut out the headstock and much more.

I am impressed with his work ethics. He is fast and good at what he does. Each DVD is in about 15 segments that are anywhere from one minute to five minutes long and you have to start and stop each segment which is a pain in the but. I wish it was just one continuous video.

I would have been disappointed if I payed the $150.00 to buy it, but it is worth renting.

I thought it was very good although the production could have been a little more straightforward. The techniques and tips are really what this is all about. You can tell that he really knows how to build a guitar. He gives some great information and I do recommend it highly.
