Extremely beneficial! Loved everything about it. I think I can now build one! Highly recommend this.
Great - practical and helpful just to watch Mr. Benedetto work!
Overall i would rate the Benedetto series very good. it was a pleasure to watch the master at work. as stated in the beginning of the series having the book by Benedetto along with the video is the complete course and complement each other. i think video number 3 and 4 should be combined into one because of their length.
thank you stan zurawski
This series is good, but I feel like there is something missing. I recommend renting it but I hope to review some more presentations before deciding the best to purchase for my library.
Bob is a master guitar maker and very good as a teacher. If you want to learn about archtop guitars (making them from scratch) this is the DVD collection.
Benedetto is an excellent luthier and teacher. He explains details as you watch each part of the guitar take shape. His methods show good ideas for tools, jigs, and technique. I highly recommend this series, even for those who have made a few guitars.
