The Ruger "P" Series of handguns has become very popular in recent years. Backed by the strong reputation of the Ruger firearms and the relatively low cost of the high-capacity pistol, the "P" Series has proven to be very popular with consumers and law enforcement. This video is a complete guide to disassembly and then reassembly of the complete line of Ruger "P" Series handguns. Complete attention is given to proper nomenclature of parts and how they function. This information applies to all "P" Series handguns.

You learn what you need to in order to get an understanding of what it takes to disassemble the Ruger "P" series pistols. My main complaint is how it seems like this man was not prepared for the video. He constantly uses improper nomenclature for most of the parts; and the way that he kept calling the firing pin the hammer bugged the hell out of me. I guess being an armorer in the Marines has made me anal.
Don't even attempt disassembly of one of these Ruger autoloading pistols without watching this video. A very well done production. Lenny McGill clearly puts a lot of effort into explaining the disassembly of the Ruger P-series. I had a customer who wanted their P-85 refinished, and if it hadn't been for the video, I would've been lost. Typical Ruger design and construction...overly complicated and needlessly difficult to work with.
