I enjoyed this video and learned so much. I have always loved Birgit O'Connor's work. Seeing her at work, having her describe the materials she uses and her techniques and then watching her paint and develop the poppies was simply amazing. I have rented another in the series and look forward to continuing to learn from this wonderful artist.
"Within the Flower" is a very helpful instructional video. Birgit explains her technique, pigments, and color theory extremely well. Unlike some other artists' videos, the camera records every step without skipping, and she fully explains her technique. Highly recommend her video to all levels of w/c painters.
