This guy is Bad A$$ artist, this one is a great video for your own collection so you can go back several times and watch. cross-eyed is very skilled and just watching him helped me. I need to buy this video now and watch about 10 more times between projects. AA++ must have, of course rent it first from TECH. VIDEO RENTAL to see if its your style of airbrushing. Very realistic looking art, great for fine artist , mural artist, photo realistic artist all around great video!!! Now I want to rent all of his other videos.
I rented this video from Technical Video Rental and I am SOOOO glad I did. I have been stung a couple times purchasing videos only to have been disappointed. Just because a person can airbrush, does not mean they can teach me to be just as good. And this was the case with this video.
The video is shot well, and Cross-eyed does a panel that is great. However; I found that most of the subjects he brings up are general common sense. (Like, if your customer says he doesn't like green, don't do green)... duh.
I think this is a great video to RENT, especially with the great service from Technical Video Rental. I will give it a 3 out of 5 as an average rating. If you want to watch a talented artist do a picture, then this video is great. If you are expecting to learn something, you may be disappointed.
Nothing new here, either in advice or painting. Dtick with the first DVD on painting the wolf.
Good advice from the guy up north. Comes on like a tough guy but as with his other videos he is a comfortable instructor. He is laid back and a smooth talker, lets you know where he is at all times.
Another good one from cross eyed. He imparts lots of good information and my only complaint is that is a short video.
