This video I found lacked rudimentary detail necessary for a complete novice such as myself to find of much use at all. For example, the presenter starts with a fabricated piece of downspout. Where'd he get that? Is it his own creation? Or,more fundamentally, what's the best type and gauge of material to use for guttering? Moreover, I did not observe any alternatives offered for gutter mounting & fastening pursuant to different, i.e. not-gabled conditions, e.g., existing, flat roofing where fastening has to occur via hangars or spikes/ferrels or other driven into facia &/or rafter tails. As well, I failed to make good sense of what I believe was the handcrafter's effort to describe mitre cuts via a pattern or model/template. Honestly: I sensed that the video had been edited to obscure a seamless (pun intended!) and clear, unabridged presentation of guttering fabrication techniques. I am disappointed.
