I loved this video. I've seen her on short segments on Sandra Betzina's show and others, but there's nothing like seeing her demonstrate whole tasks during a longer segment. Her tip on easing a longer piece of fabric without pins was worth the price of the video. I used it the next day and it works perfectly.

I has seen Margaret Islander on Sandra's TV show and I liked her method of teaching. Her DVD is heaven! If you have any experience with sewing and gave up using certain fabrics or styles of clothing, this is perfect for you.

I think you need a bit of sewing experience to understand exactly what problems she is addressing.

Her teaching methods are very laid back but she keeps you very interested in the topic.

Margaret Islander, many many years ago, learned sewing in a Factory as opposed to learning from Patterns. So her methods are for consistent, accurate, easier, and faster methods. The lady herself is humble and willing to share all she knows. If she lived in my area I would plant myself at her door and never stop learning. If you can practice what she teaches by sewing or cutting or marking the way she shows IT will remain with you. I learned from a seminar and wished for a video but alas, somebody read my mind! I think You will love what she has to teach. Just have to get in your studio and make something.
