Mary, a national crochet instructor, offers tips on controlling gauge, reading American and British instruction, reading charts, moving from row to row without adding or deleting stitches, changing colors and much more. Mary introduces the viewer to the "incomplete stitch", ways of adding a new yarn, finishing the ends, working circular shapes, and several ways to start you project stitches. An entire section is devoted to the Foundation stitch, a technique used to start a project. Perhaps the most important lesson learned is how to see your patter stitches. An excellent guide to improve you crocheting techniques.

The explainations were clear and simple to follow, good video of techniques. I've been crocheting for years and it had some helpful ideas for me as well as good ways to explain things to the students I'm starting to help.
I wanted to learn how to make crochet and I think that this is a excellent crochet's guide.
The Crochet Guide is very helpful for 1st time crocheter.
