I rented this video in hopes of being able to rebuild my 4L60E in my 1999 Chevrolet Express Van. I knew the video description said "step-by-step" and I have to admit, I was very skeptical about how much it would actually show me. All I can say is WOW!!! "Step-by-Step" does not even begin to describe how thorough this video is. This video takes you through it so meticulously. The only way you can make a mistake is by not following the steps as it is laid out for you. I wanted to leave this review so that others can be rest assured that is a quality product that I highly recommend. I am getting ready to restore a 1983 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4 for my 16 year old daughter. I will be looking for the video to cover the Trans in that vehicle as well. Thanks for making such a helpful product!!!! - Kevin Horseman, Austin, TX

An excellent video. Made a complicated subject much easier to understand. I hope the producer will make more titles on this subject.

Well presented, detailed, and very informative. I would like to see print outs and/or checklists to go along with this. I certainly don't want to have my laptop next to the rebuild area while I'm working on my transmission.

I consider the training instructor to be very thorough and helpful in determining if you want to rebuild your own transmission. The instructor articulated the essential information about transmission very well. I would recommend this training to anyone interested in learning what it takes to rebuild a transmission.

This DVD is very detailed in every aspect. Great confidence builder, in conjunction with the ATSG manual. If your on the fence about building your own 4L60E, go ahead and do it. This was my first ever auto trans rebuild, and it went with no problems. Pay close attention to the details and you can't miss. I also rented the other 4l60E DVD from Smartflix at the same time just for two different perspectives. I took a lot from each and built a solid 4l60E.

This DVD was awesome!!! Very Thorough. It gave DETAILED instructions for EVERY step of the rebuild process. I definitely give it two thumbs up and would recommend it to anyone that wants to rebuild their 4L60e themselves.

I've always wanted to rebuild an automatic and this video tutorial, along with a dead Chevy tranny gave my son-in-law, daughter and me the reason and necessary instruction on just how to do it. The step-by-step procedure worked perfectly for the prep, tear down and assembly. Now I'm ready to do another one. Highly recommended.

Video is well done and is well presented. Nothing is overlooked. However, no consideration is given to 4x4 units. Disappointing. It is a 2wd in the video. Don't know how helpful this will be. Also, be prepared for an excruciating painful "Neyyyyyyxt" between each step. Hurts to listen to, but I think the presenter is very competent at his craft.
