This was the first in an excellent series by Larry. Covers a lot of detail with excellent explanations and visuals. Very good camera work and production. Amazing just to watch these two older fellows whacking in nails with one hit. Larry's main focus is in demonstrating the framing process as efficiently as possible and he does indeed show a lot of time savers.
I thought this was the best one of the 3 movies they made. The stairs was a good clip, very instructive and made easy to understand. Also the layout of the joists and spacing were interesting. great for the beginning framer like me.
Very good video: detailed enough, yet easy to understand.
Excellent video; very knowledgeable, easy-to-understand instructor.
The dvd is excellent! I only wish that I could be there with them to watch them do everything in person. If I were an apprentice I would want them to teach me! They show you all the little things that separate the pros from the amateurs. They also show time saving techniques that most people would normally not pay attention to. They can even nail by hand just as fast as you could nail with a gun! With all the info you get in the dvd they also tell you what the code requirements are. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking to get into the trade.
