This is an excellent video if you have never drawn a car in illustrator. It is thorough, clearly presented (by one of the industry's best), and just the right length. I highly recommend this video.

This is excellent for the Newbie to understand the process of converting a drawing to a vector file, rendering, adding text and dressing up the design. It moves fast, but it is step by step and you can absorb 95% in one viewing.

After watching this dvd the second time I noticed that the car the teacher finished with is not the same as the one he gives the tutorial on. The colouring and shading he takes the learner through looks terrible compared to the one that he "finishes up" before the text is added. That being said, it does give a very basic understanding on how to create a car through photoshop and what to look for in the picture that you copy.

I can say that the service smartfix provides is excellent. Time to search your libraries again.

thank you

The concept is good, but the video taping was poor. There was only a few times that you could see close-ups of the art. The first seen was two lines and then he tells you that it will take a 1 1/2 hours for you to do the out line? Doesn`t expand on the subject. It was okay.
