I learned a lot from watching this video! Excellent pacing and easy to understand. Wonderful for a beginner or intermediate spinner.
I thought this video was extremely well done, and I learned a great deal from watching it. I would highly recommend this for beginners (or even as a refresher for intermediate spinners).
This video involves a lot of the technology of spinning. Why wheels do what they do & how it relates to the yarn you end up with as well as how to work with the wheel to produce the yarn you want. It's good--but it's something you have to want to learn & retain. Or something you might want to go back to at a later date to review specifics.
I have never spun before, so everything in this dvd was new to me. It was extremely clear and easy to understand, and a large amount of material covered. The instructor was wonderful, with a calm manner, very straightforward, giving just the right amount of detail. I can't recommend it enough, and will probably rent it again. I felt so much more competent after viewing this video and practicing along with it!
She explains her techniques clearly and has a lot of good ideas, like the control cards.
I liked the technical info in the video. She had a lot of great charts that made things easy to understand.
