Forget the airbrush and compressor, they are costly anyway! Learn how to create the illusion of deterioration and decay using such painting techniques as drybrushing, washing and staining. All you need to make your freshly built cemetery look like an old and spooky one is latex paint, watered down latex paint and normal paintbrushes.

Not bad, I liked the overall video. Good music and good solid easy to follow information. They keep their techniques simple so anyone can do them. The overall effects where good for a cemetery scene. We will apply some of the washing & monster mud techniques used in this video.
This is very very basic, they teach you how to paint things that you buy, they don't focus on the things you build, they don't offer materials list when you do build things, just when you paint them. They go over dry brushing again and again. This video is pretty much how to use dry brushing paint on anything...
I personally disliked the video, it was over the top with every action referring to a sex position, a phallic comment, size of things and how wet things can be. I have seen plenty of good instructional videos that didn't have to sell themselves using sex.
Another dislike, this was done often in real time, so your sitting there painting along with them? Seems odd, since they are just painting things over and over, seems to me once you get the technique down they could show projects it would work with instead of sitting there watching her paint the same stroke over and over.
I really hated this video, I would never have paid the rental fee if I knew how little was on this and how silly it was. I was excited when they started talking about making your own cemetery bench, until I realized they meant buy one and paint it.
If you are looking to learn how to dry brush anything then this is your video. If you don't mind the whole thing being extremely cheesy sexual over the top comments then you wont have a problem.
My haunt group that came over to watch videos gave up after 30 min and put in a different video. 23 guys all saying this is terrible doesn't bode well for the video.
We kept fast forwarding through to each project to see if it got better, I went ahead and watched the whole, very slow thing on my own before writing this review to make sure I didn't miss any cool part. I didn't... sorry. I would highly suggest not using this video to teach kids how to make coffins, if you have viewed it once you will understand why.
This video was clear and easy to understand....The content concerning painting was a little drawn out and could have been condensed to move the video along at a better pace...However, the information demonstrated was very well done. I would recommend this video to anyone interested in making Halloween props.
This is very poorly put together. Is not very worthwhile even to the amateur. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
