The SIG is one of the favorite pistols of todays law enforcement officer. High quality and reliable. This Armorer's Course goes inside a Factory Cutaway to teach you the complete design and function of this pistol. Also included is total disassembly, reassembly, basic trouble shooting and repairs. Instructed by Robert Dunlap.

Excellent video, this is the first I have watched in the AGI series and found it very usefull in its detail. I have worked on these pistols previously and learned the hard way on them. This video would have saved me a fair bit of time in re-assembly had i seen it before.
All in all it is a good video. I wanted you learn how to completely disassemble and reassemble my Sig P220, and for the most part it does. All accept the spent shell Ejector on the newer style pistols.
It is an older video, 1993 I think. So unless you have a DAO, DAK, or SAO then this video will work for you.
Used this DVD a prep for my SIG armorer's course. Was a great help and I would highly recommend.

I was kind of disappointed, after seeing the DVD. The company that produced the DVD advertised that the guy who was teaching the course was an expert, but I don't think he is any more of an expert that I am.
Not bad, old video format, would be better in blue ray technology.
This was the first of the AGI DVDs that I viewed; and after several more DVDs, it still remains the best of the AGI Armorers Courses I've seen. Took something like five times watching the DVD before I fully understood everything (remember, this was my first venture into the mysterious world of firearm internals/design), but I was able to disassemble, clean, and reassemble my P226 without incident (installing a Sig Parts Kit in the process).
This DVD only covers the "Classic" Sig pistols; it does not cover the P230/232, Sig Pro, 1911 series, or their newest P250. It focuses on the newer style models (using a P229 cutaway), but also addresses the older style sheet metal models with the pinned-in breech block, internal extractor, and Euro style mag release. Don't know what the other reviewer meant about the ejector not being disassembled in the DVD, but it was.
