Very good videos. I wish I would have watched these videos before I bought some pen makeing supplies. They show you simple ways of doing pens without alot of expensive equiptment. Amazing what one can do with just one simple kit. Very informative. More information in two videos than all the reading I have done in the last month. Very happy with the quality and content.
I hope it's as easy as they make it look..... I just ordered all the supplies to start making pens now. Wish me luck
I have seen a number of DVDs on woodturning and this one rates right up at the top of the list - I cant't wait until I see the second one!
As a new woodturner I really appreciate the fact the instruction in this DVD is given in a very basic, easy to understand way. I haven't even tried making any pens yet, but when I do I feel that I now have a good basic understanding of what to do. I'd recommend this DVD to anyone, especially those new to turning.

Whether you are turning pens for the first time or an old pro- these DVDs are for you. They cover all aspects of the Slim Line and then the European pen turning and building. Better yet, they demonstrate some design changes which can make any turned pen more sophisticated. Lastly, the tips section is an excellent addition to anyone's knowledge..

The first disk is just OK. If you have turned any pens at all you are already beyond what you would learn how from this disk. If you are just starting out you may learn a little.
This - the second disk in the series is better than the first. If you've done any turning at all jump to this one.
