Although the DVD could not be completely viewed on my computer or using my newest television's DVD player, once I watched it on an old DVD player, I was very impressed. This first DVD in the series covered cleaning wooden works clocks from the 1800s and the use of reversible hide glues. This is a worthwhile DVD for anyone who owns or is interested in learning more about wooden works clocks.
Once again, John Tope has produced a great series on Clock Repair and this series on the Wooden Movements was exactly what I needed to study. John presents these lessons in such a way that I am able to learn and retain this material in just one or sometimes two viewings, and taking notes of course. All of this information for just the rental charge is a great deal.
Another great repair course by John Tope. The Wooden Movement Clock repair course - all four DVD's - took away all of the worry, for me, regarding these old wood movements. Another professional production by John filled with useful tips, troubleshooting and repair information.
