Timothy L. Keyzers demonstrates many techniques very useful in creating highly contemporary borosilicate vortex marbles, step by step. He makes four different vortex marbles from easier to more advanced using frit, color stringers, dichroics, and silver fuming, including the "Phantom Corkscrew". He demonstrates how to decorate the backside with a detailed spotting pattern - one of his signature looks.

Its a good video if you do not already know how to vortex but if you are past the beginner stage there is nothing ground breaking in this video, Fun to watch though.
This is great for the beginning marble maker like me. It was easy to follow and well-paced. The DVD menu made it easy to jump from project to project or simply play all.

I thought this video was very informing and interesting, but then I have never made a marble yet...so for the beginner, it's GREAT! In fact, fascinating. Really makes you want to get into this hobby.
Got the DVD on Thursday and watched it twice that night and again in the am. Then I went out and made 2 fine vortexs. It was really a great DVD as far as a hobbyist glassblower is concerned. I recommend it to anyone that has been trying to vortexes.
