This is the 2nd Mike Holt video sets I have seen (the 1st, "basic electricity" series set cost me $400 because I purchased it instead of renting!)--and I would have thought that the scenery would have changed from one set too another...but did I guess wrong...
Mike Holt conducts ALL his video sets, sitting in a conference room surrounded by a panel of (7)representatives of the Electrical Industry and "speed talks" his way thru the lessons as if you, the viewer...has 10 or more years in the electrical field already!
His videos are DEFINITELY NOT geared for those trying to learn Electrical Installation, since he reads excerpts from a book he wrote, and does not interact with the viewer in a "one-on-one" manner (his videos remind me of a Donald Trump Seminar)
Try the Mark Shapiro "NEC" video tutorials instead...at least he speaks to the viewer in a manner more understandable and personable...than ANY Mike Holt product can!

This is not for someone wanting to learn about electrical but for someone who has already taken their 4 years of electrical classes and is now prepping for their electrical test. This dvd set was awesome and helped me pass my test the first time!
