This was an amazing movie. It wasn't shot that well but the knowledge gained from it outweighs that by 100 times. The coolest part is that all of these effects are in the paint. You don't need expensive equipment or amazing skill, just let the paint do the work for you. Get both discs right from the start, you'll be glad you did!
These two video's are absolutely the worst video's that I have ever seen. This guy comes across as a hack and does nothing special that anybody cant go to a decent paintstore with knowledgable employee's to get you to do this stuff. He contridicts himself many times and also cusses in these video's which dont bother me but it just goes to show how unprofessional this is and only mentioned using a respirator once and that was before shooting clear which I figured he would not use it for that either.
I would not and do not recommend any of the video's by this guy as I can not see any of them being better then these which are not worth the money what so ever. As far as I am concerned people like this put a black eye on this business and quality video's. I highly recommend sticking with the video's by well known artists like Mike Learn, Craig Fraser, Vince Goodeve, etc...
Even though the artist doesn't ever wear protection, and has quite the "personality", these videos are excellent in all that they cover. MANY different techniques, as well as some good hints, however minor, which you can gain from. I'd recommend this one for novice users.
Wicked and Wild.!!!!!! Not really. If you know anything about painting, why rent this? The guy wasted time telling how he converted different spray guns. Shot in his make shift shop garage with curtains hanging to hide his junk. I believe this guy and the radical stencil design guy video'd each others production. Waste of time and cash if you can already paint.
Explain clearly and not too fast so that you can make a good note. The subtitle of key points and products information is very helpful. Expect to rent more DVD from them.
Not too bad of a DVD. Pretty basic stuff, but all in all, I would recommend it.
