These have some good information,but most is outdated(no one uses laquers anymore).It seems like the Host almost has to pry the techniques out of the painter.
I think this is a good video if your a beginner. if you can watch and learn it is ok. I got alot out of the pinstriping section. the 2nd disc though i didnt find very informative it was justhow to apply vinyl and make it look airbrushed. In all id give it about a 70 out of 100 i enjoyed watching it.
I have been custom painting for 20 years. The spraying techniques in this video are way off. The painter waves his spray gun around almost in a random pattern. This is a very bad habit to teach someone. This video also appears to have been shot in a garage at someones home. This is a backyard video with very poor examples.
Great DVD - You will learn all kinds of tricks that save you time and money, definatly worth renting.
Good DVD set. Limited to flames and skulls, Shows the basics of how to paint graphics. Disk 2 talks about painting on vinyl graphics. Interesting way to apply temporary graphics without being limited to solid colors.
A bit outdated, but these were made some time ago. Good useful info. Mainly for the beginner. Some info is stupid and pointless. Some of the way that Bob Kovacs cuts costs is pretty dumb. I wish I'd have known about Smartflix,because I actually paid $100 for these.
