This was an exceptionally clear, well-edited video. Mike Mahoney gives a lot of helpful information without much chitchat or filler. Any turner interested in producing practical woodenware would get something useful out of this film.

I really enjoyed this DVD, while not rocket science I really learned from the close up shots of using the edges of the chisels and the angles to hold to scrape or cut. PS I have never turned a bowl in my life so all is helpful Sound quality is a little weak at times, but video is very good.
