Excellent resource for beginner and advanced reloader alike.
I wished I had watched the DVD a long time ago. Would have save me a lot of problems.
Excellent viewing for the beginner and a good refresher course for those who have let their skills lapse over time.
A good overview for the novice (which I am). It's an older video, but it's not like this is a fast changing field, so that didn't really pose a problem. With this information and some reading on the net, I was able to make up a smart shopping list for tools and materials to get started, rather than taking one vendor's word on what I needed. Only negative would be the amount of time devoted at the end of the program to reviewing a number of then-current progressive presses, time that would have been better spent on other topics, maybe introducing some of the tradeoffs in designing loads.
I am just getting into reloading so I found some good information on this dvd. It is a good watch for someone new to reloading like myself.
Wish I'd had this video 30 yrs ago when I started reloading! It points out everything I learned the hard way plus some! Recommend it for all reloaders.
An excellent overview of reloading basics and instruction, with much detailed information on specific rifles/handguns and loads.
An instructive video, but very dated. Be prepared for lots of "cool jazz" background music.
Concepts are well explained but no extensive instructions on the use of a progressive press. If you handload the old way this video is for you, otherwise I preferred "Competition reloading" by Brian Enos. He uses a Dillon 650 and goes more in details.
I'm just starting to think about reloading, I found this video very-very helpful. It answered almost all of my quetions. Showed what equipment was needed and how to use it. Worth the time to watch.
If you dont know a thing about reloading and can't read a book this is the idiots guide. So for basics this is a good video.
Content was a 5, but copy hung during playback so I gave it a 4. Even though the flick is 1987 vintage and not digitally remastered, I learned a lot from it. The last part which demonstrates 4 different progressives was especially good. It gave you a good idea of which ones were more complicated to use. This part also made a case for starting out with a single stage and moving up as you gain more experience. There is a lot going on with every pull of the progressive lever. Lots of chances to have powder all over the floor cause you forgot to prime or stick a bullet in at the right time.
