This video has two sections:
The first section, "Caping and Field Dressing Big Game" is a 30 minute section that teaches you step by step field dressing techniques.
Every hunter needs to know how to care for the cape of that once-in-a-lifetime big game trophy. Many trophies are ruined before they get to a taxidermist simply because proper field caping techniques weren't used. Now you can assure, by following the steps shown in this program, that your mounted trophy will appear just as it did the day you collected it. This program also covers important aspects of field dressing big game and meat care so that you can gain maximum flavor and texture from your wild game.
The second section, "Scoring North America's Big Game Species" shows footage of most of the North American big game trophies in the wild - from elk to grizzly bear, moose, caribou, mule deer whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, Dall sheep, and many others. It also shows how to properly measure trophy animals.
Guide to help submit a trophy for possible inclusion in either the Boone & Crocket (rifle) record book, or the Pope & Young (bow) book are shown. Acknowledged experts demonstrate the scoring technique to give the sportsman a detailed understanding of the proper procedure to be used.
