A very good introductory program on veneering with a vacuum press and with clamps. It shows you how to select veneer, veneer substrate types, how to flatten bubbly veneers, trimming and cutting proceedures and the different glues and which to use. Its a good DVD for step 1 in veneering. The natural Step 2 is the DVD: Working in a Vacuum.

Highly recommended for those who are interested in getting into veneering. A nicely done teaching video that has a good pace to it. Be sure to look at the other video, Advanced Vacuum Veneering Techniques.

The information is aimed at the beginer in this field. But the practices recommended are sound and the approaches eminently practical and geared to the use of the equipment sold by the presenter. The video is well paced and the rationale for the approach is well reasoned.
