James Carrington creates incredibly imaginative and detailed figures in this small scale. In the first tape, he shows you how to make the basic body shapes from which your dollhouse dolls will spring to life. He also teaches you how to make two part molds, so that you don't have to start from scratch every time you start a doll. Includes actual size diagrams to help you shape your doll blanks and proportion charts for the male and female figures.

This is one of the bestt miniature doll-making videos ever. Very detailed and thorough - watch Jamie start with the basic body blanks that he shows you how to make in the first video and progress through four variations, two female and two male. Just amazing... no bland little dolls, here - these dolls are full of personality and expression. Fabulous workshop!

The four dolls that were sculpted in the second video get makeup and wigs in this one. Here's where you see how to put your doll's parts together, paint the doll and get it ready to dress. He really makes this look easy and provides tons of information along the way - the dolls seem to come to life while Jamie chats.

I enjoyed this video very much. The instruction was clear and complete and detailed. I was able to follow along with clay in my hand and actually work right along with him. I would recommend this video to anyone who is seriously interested in making 1/12 scale dolls. The only thing that could be better would be sitting at the work table right beside Mr. Carrington.
Very informative and engaging. I really enjoyed this series and learned a lot.
