There are a few good demonstrations of dog tricks but it quickly becomes painfully obvious that they couldn't find enough information to make a real video. That coupled with the bad background music makes this a poor video.
My rating is based on the first video only. I found the first of this two dvd collection to be worth watching. It gives good descriptions of the basic commands, no annoying background music or unnecessary filler material. The only thing that bothered me is over use of the DVD menus, not really a big deal. The second video "The dog whisperer" is ok but I would recommend just renting the first video it has all the same info and isn't as lame. You might think someone who calls themselves the dog whisperer would have some knowledge that couldn't be found in a basic dog training video, you would be wrong.
I found this DVD set to informative. Good description of cutting molding and innovative tools for installing it. The second video seemed a bit short or I would have given this a 5 star rating. This set should have been put on one DVD.
This video is not what I expected. I'm going to still give it a good rating but to be honest it was above my skill level. I was looking for something that would say "ok you play those chords and I'll play these chords and it should sound good together, and this is why...” I wouldn't recommend this to a beginner. It left me confused and I’ve been playing for a few years.
Jammed packed with info these DVD's are great if you are into wilderness survival. Sure, Im never going to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together but its nice to know that I have the knowledge to do so if I wanted to.
Another good set of DVD's on survival. If you are interested in only learning the "How to" stuff I would skip Survival camping and Jungle living. They are interesting videos, just not a lot of wilderness survival techniques.
To be fair this video does give basic information on casting. But that's its, not a penny more. I got the feeling that a lot more could have been said, not that it was hard to understand but that the author would really like to milk this for a DVD series.
This is an excellent video. I wish I had seen this video when I first started wood working. Duginski jigs are more accurate and a hell of a lot cheaper than most store jigs. The explanations are thorough without being long winded. I would recommend this to beginner through advanced wood workers.
Another good DVD from Duginske. Explanations are clear concise and most importantly useful. No unnecessary filler. I recommend this to beginner through intermediate wood workers.
A good video on the table saw. I would recommend this to a very beginning wood worker. I would also recommend the Duginske DVD's. There is some overlap in info but plenty of good wood working knowledge in both
The description of these DVD's on the main page should give you some clue that these DVD's are jammed packed with Finishing information. From staining to faux painting it has it all. I highly recommended the two DVD's if you are interested in the topic
Having very little knowledge of long range rifle shooting or shooting in general, for that matter, I found this video to be very informative. The first part is a comparison between a general hunting rifle and a custom rifle. While you get the impression that you probably won’t be pulling of 500 yard shots consistently with a Wal-Mart rifle it does tell you what to look for and what modifications are necessary to make a more accurate rifle. It doesn't show you how to make the mods but there are plenty of other vids on that. The rest of the video is on shooting technique and sighting in. For a complete beginner like me it’s an excellent video. Intermediate and definitely advanced shooters probably won’t find as much useful info in it.
I found this video to be informative. It’s entertaining and gives a good explanation of basic blacksmithing. The only complaint I would have is that the camera man didn't always know what to focus on and it was difficult to know what the blacksmith was talking about. I would also recommend Woodsmaster 9: Primitive Knifemaking if you’re interested in blacksmithing.

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers, these are excellent DVD's but they really could have done a little more editing. I love to sculpt and I love all the detail they showed but I fell asleep twice while trying to get through them. I think the background music on some of these disks just lulls you off to dreamy land.
These are great how-to DVD's on sculpting heads. If you’re trying to decide on what DVD's you want to watch to learn sculpture techniques, start here. You won’t be disappointed
I was a little apprehensive about renting these DVD's, I guess I’ve had the misconception that polymer clay is for kids. So I checked out the author’s web site and she does wonderful life like doll sculptures. I wasn't disappointed with her video. The camera is up close looking over her shoulder. For anyone who is in to sculpting small figures, she presents techniques for creating life like figures.
Good video, excellent description of rebuild process. Definitely professionally done
