Very little thought was given to the contents and it was poorly thought out and poorly filmed.
I am sure the guy knows how to weld, but that's about it.
Very amateurish. I am sure beginner tig welders will pick up something from it, but it leaves more questions than it answers. Clearly thrown together in haste.
If you were to only rent one video for metal shaping, this would be it.
It's only one fender, but it incorporates almost all the skills you would need to build a complete car body.
It's a perfect example of how the old panel beaters could produce great forms using basic tools. John produces this fender using a wheel, hand shrinker/stretcher and a few dollies and pipes.
Make sure you watch this video at least 4 times. I guarantee, you'll pick up something new every time.
