A bit disappointing. I have several of Rudy's books and they are nicely detailed and illustrated. Unfortunately, this video is not. Rudy actually cuts a grand total of one (yes, only one) screw. And this is a standard V-shape external thread (nothing fancy like an ACME or even an internal thread). I was a bit surprised by the rather abrupt ending after cutting only one screw. The video starts with a nice overview of the theory, but that is not at all carried over into the shop demo. In addition, this is a dubbed VHS tape so you will not have the usual DVD features like chapters and menus. (The picture quality is a bit below par too, but that is probably because of the dubbing.)
Nice DVD, very instructional and even entertaining. It is to the point with little fluff. This is a professionally produced DVD with 3D animations, close ups, clear picture and sound. Everything is clearly explained in a language that is easily approachable for beginners. I highly recommend this video to anyone who owns one of the Chinese import mini-mills.
