The video is a good source of trail riding techniques for the beginner. While the video is a bit hokey and wordy at times, it gets the message across and contains worthwhile information.
When the title says basic, they really mean it. This video is best for the dirt bike/ATV owner who has never performed maintenance of any type and is baffled by the owners manual.
I'm confused as to why the video has a chapter about valve adjustment when it tells the viewer to have it done at a service center.
I would say this video is way too basic for most and in this reviewers opinion, provides some flawed advice regarding drive chain adjustment.
While I didn't rent this video from SmartFlix, I bought a copy last spring. It's a good video, Shane Watts is a top rider and provides good tips and advice. However, the video has too much filler between the instruction segments. Not enough instruction and too much commentary from people who know Mr. Watts.
An excellent video with lots of discussion and details. A no BS approach with great advice and tips from an expert. You won't regret renting this video.
