I rented the Professional Machine Shop Course: General Machine Shop based on the other series featuring Darrell Holland. The mill and lathe series are very good and I recommend them. There are a couple of things you need to know about this series. First, Darrell is only in 3 of the 5 DVD’s. Second, if you rent the entire set to save a few dollars, consider not renting disc 4. You will save more money, and disc 4 is just a guy at a trade show. There is no application to home or hobbyist users, and if you are a professional user, your salesman will be happy to take you around a trade show. The disc that Darrell is not in is the Brake Lathe and Cylinder Boring DVD. This was interesting, but at the level of the rest of the presentation.
