If you have no acting experience don't watch this video intently. Only concentrate on the teacher when he is explaining his philosophy. The students in this film absolutely suck and this pisses me off because I learn from watching people and when I watched this video I couldn't help but feel worse than I already was not because it opened my mind but because it closed it. You have to break through the closing and rise above where you already were. In all honesty I would skip most of the instances where the students are making up their own imaginary world because it is obvious that school has taken its toll on their imaginary capabilities. Just skip all the bad acting that you can't learn anything from and move onto the good stuff. Take the bits that have some use and remember these but toss the shit out. I haven't even watched it all the way through yet and I'm already warning you guys. The teachers wise but I'm not sure if the students are capable and this is the reason why I had to stop watching the movie because it was making me feel stupid. You can actually see the teacher thinking wow these people have no talent at all I wish I had people with potential to be in the movie that depicts my life's work. I want to learn how to act but I think the best way would be for one on one sessions with a teacher as you wouldn't have all the extra idiotic thoughts thrown into the mix. Possibly one on two (me and a partner). This sounds like the best way. As an actor you shouldn't have a bunch of shit in your head you need to be yourself but have the skill of acting which is sorta secret isn't it?
