It's a very good video over all. The safety information is excellent, as are the pointers on angling the wire with respect to the metal. The shots of welds are a bit repetitive. I found myself wishing for more information on how to control the molten puddle under various conditions. I have ordered a stick welding video in the hope of learning more about controlling the molten metal. This video answers most of my questions about flux core welding. I recommend it.
This video was very good overall. I thought it was a bit light on puddle control, so I rented Steve's Arc Welding 1. It covers puddle control extremely well. I highly recommend the combination of Wire Feed Welding and Arc Welding 1.
Steve is great in these videos. Arc Welding 1 in particular gives an excellent treatment of how to control the molten puddle and how to recognize what it is doing. This important topic is demonstrated for horizontal, vertical and overhead welds.
