This is the first time renting from SmartFlix and I would definitely recommend this video. Javier is a very talented artist and it shows everything in great close ups. I am just a beginner but you can take a lot out of this video and put it to work for you. Mike N.
Man cross eyed is an awesome ab artist. There is not a whole lot of ab on the video, but when he does ab he makes it look so easy. If your looking for a video about skull features and balance then this is worth renting. Mike N.
Blackdog is one heck of an ab artist. He will be missed. I've never watched any of his vids before. I would have to say this was still a descent instructional vid. It explains using several different stencils to achieve the dynamic lighting effect. I don't know why he kept going over the yellow and white multiple times, but the end result speaks for itself. Definitely worth renting if your into learning shadowing and light. Mike
I could watch Javier ab all day long. He never uses stencils, awesome freehand work. Very good chrome rendering and use of flesh tones. Great vid for learning how to lay down some graphics. Mike
I think his stencil system is great for beginners like myself. Now I see why I need to get a high detail brush. It doesn't hurt that he has a great model to look at all day!! Mike
I like the way Mike can have fun while making these vids. Great detail work and tons of tips, great for newbies. Very informative on getting the right light sources and shadows.
Great follow up to the first dvd. I didn't realize that there was that many layers to the blue fire, I'm glad I rented it. Also Mike shows you a killer way to paint the waterdrop effect.

Great DVD for beginners wanting to learn stippling and shading techniques. He does a great rendering of a hammer with wood grain effects and brushed metal. Overall you can learn some pretty decent tips from Mr. Cacy. Mike
