Overall, this video was good. It showed a number of techniques in working with steel tubing. It covers heating, bending around forms, filling tubes with sand, a few types of bending machines, and U-bends. I have previously done little with U-bends so I found this section very useful. I have two complaints about the video. Covell often dumbs stuff down too much for me. It would be better if he covered more material at greater depth. Basically, he shouldn't assume I'm so dumb. My other complaint is that this video only covers steel tubing. The only other material covered was a gag clip at the end where he snaps an aluminum tube while trying to bend it. No details were provided on special things to keep in mind with aluminum, copper, etc.
The content of these framebuilding videos was excellent. It covers machining the tubing, joining the parts, and aligning the frame. I found the frame alignment parts very valuable. EVERY step of the framebuilding process is covered. This leads to a lot of video, but you'll get tips on each section of the project that would have been left out of a shorter video. If you are looking for a flashy video with high dollar editing, this is not it. This video is content and not packaging. I wish he had covered: materials other than steel, reasons for choosing one type of brazing over another, and basic design rules of thumb.
This video covers oxy-acetylene welding of steel. It does not cover welding that requires flux (Aluminum, Stainless) or brazing. The video is all excellent quality and shows the bead well. The discussion was very informative. For example, he suggests choosing a welding rod size based on how much heat it will take from the bead. He then demonstrates using a rod that is too large or too small. The only part I didn't like was his tip size chart. Different brands of torches are inconsistent on what a 00, 1, or other tip size is.
Great video. I had experience picking door locks. This video goes way beyond that covering handcuffs, car door locks, etc. Excluding electronic locks, this covers most types of locks I encounter daily.
I'm a competitive weightlifter and ordered this to help with recovery from workouts. It was all gibberish to me. It may be useful to someone that has gone though massage school. He was speaking another language and never provided a low level explanation that a novice needs to understand anything in the video.
I competitively weightlift and wanted some techniques to help with recovery between workouts. There were a few details in here about how to get at some hard to massage muscles. The downside is that the video was geared to someone that has gone to massage school. They may find the whole video useful.
