Excellent! I love this DVD. Pat is a great instructor, she's easy to follow and listen to, and the cam angles are great.
This DVD will definitely teach you how to make miniature furniture. It demystifies many things. The teacher is a bit "sleepy" with his low, droning voice. I fast forwarded through a good bit of it. But it does teach you a lot of cool tricks and shortcuts.
I agree with all the great reviews below. Initially I rented this for my husband, but I think I'll be trying my hand at wood carving soon! I was always afraid of the knife and cutting myself. But all the safety issues are covered very well too. Excellent instruction and very interesting and informative at the same time!
This is a great DVD. Angie has an absolutely charming accent and wit. I had never attempted to make any type of polymer cane before watching this video, and I made some great miniatures from canes on my first try! In fact they turned out so well some ended up being Christmas gifts :)
Some great ideas in this vid. The entire miniature making world has been demystified now, yeay! I rented #2 and #3 of this set and they were both very informative and well worth the money.
