First off, this was my first video to rent from SmartFlix and I was very pleased at how easy it is to order and how easy it is to send back afterwards.

I very much enjoyed this DVD and watched it several times. I am brand new to acrylics and so I have so much to learn. This method of approach is more "watercolor-like" than "oil like" and I was so interested in how that is done. I decided to get a few of the supplies I saw demo'd in the film. I would recommend it to anyone interested in acrylics who would like to paint on both paper and canvas in a watercolor-like fashion.

I rented #2 of the 3 part series. I thought Hugh Greer was wonderful...a great teacher. I watched the video 3 times taking notes! Later this winter I will rent #3 to view. It is good for both beginner and intermediate painters. I am hoping that SmartFlix will buy more acrylic videos to view. It's such a fascinating medium and there are so many new breakthroughs in techniques and materials. I went out and bought a "shaper" right after the DVD. Ginny
