I learned a lot from this video. I have used a vacuum press for infrequent curved panels and veneering work for several years. The styrofoam formwork and the bladder demonstrations were completely new information for me .
This three part series is great. Lots of good information. Professionally produced. I watched it a few times to absorb all that I could.
High production values. Fast paced. Good basic content.
Very professionally produced. Very brief. The framing method demonstrated will save you time and frustration. Well worth renting.
I hesitate to rent DVDs that have no reviews. This disc is a very brief 30 minute long introduction to the very basic principals of hydronic systems. There is a quiz at the end. This disc was obviously produced for introductory classroom instruction for those in training to become service technicians or installers. If you want to learn the basics of hydronics for general information purposes this will guide you. If you want to fix or maintain your home's boiler call a service tech and give him half- a -yard to show you how to repair and maintain your particular system. The presentation is fast and clear with text book graphics and good audio
I rented the first disk, "Creating a Package..." In the beginning of the DVD the presenter shouts over the noise of a leaf blower that he's operating in a pathetic attempt at humor. He goes on to critique fliers that he removed from utility poles. No useful information is presented. Thankfully I only wasted $10 on the rental. I would like the hour of my life back that I spent watching this bad infomercial.
