Great DVD! I watched it two and a half times during the week. I have just ordered a copy of it from BestPrices.com. SmartFlix should offer sales, I would have been happy to buy the one I had!
He knows a great deal about drawing dinosaurs but it is a little on the slow side. I would've preferred that he show how to draw some dinosaurs first, then when into the details as to why he draws them in that manner.
Contrary to the other reviewer's comments, there was only a brief discussion with the model at the beginning while she was still robed. I felt it added to the experience so that you knew you were sculpting a real person. I do agree that I would not have chosen a model who is "implant enhanced". One of the nice things about figure sculpting/drawing/etc is appreciating the natural form, I would have preferred an un-enhanced model.The video moved along nicely and I appreciated the side-by-side recap of the various stages at the end. I thought the camera positioning could be better. The camera frequently got only part of the model and the sculpture. I would've preferred it got the scupture and the model at the same time as he worked so that you can watch him and compare what he's looking at as he makes changes.
