Sandrea Angelo's demonstrations were easy to follow and understand. Seeing the artist create the look of weathered wood with gesso was especially useful to me. I had read about the technique, but found it too complex to try on my own. Watching the experts made the project appear both manageable and enjoyable. For this reason in particular, I would recommend the video to others. My first time experience with SmartFlix has been positive. I will rent from them again.
After viewing this DVD, I purchased a copy of my own. I thought I knew enough about color theory to get by, but I didn’t know how much I didn’t know! Frequently pausing and reviewing the DVD to listen more closely, I pulled out my dusty color wheel to follow along. There is a lot of information, and Ms. Angelo makes it easy to learn. 'Color Theory Made Really Easy' cannot be satisfactorily viewed in one sitting. You'll want to watch certain segments over and over. I'm taking a local colored pencil drawing class, and have recommended the DVD (and SmartFlix) to others. Thank you SmartFlix! Diana E. Tucson, Arizona

I enjoyed this video. I can't imagine how much more time it would have taken me to learn the basics of Corel Painter using a manual. I know a little bit about Adobe Photoshop, and rented this video to see if I would prefer learning Corel Painter. Now I know I want to learn both programs. They compliment each other very nicely. Watching Ryan Church create his art was inspiring, and it built my confidence that I can use Painter with success. I highly recommend this introductory video.
