Whew! I should have found out how long this DVD was before I ordered two to watch in one week! (7.5 hours of lectures and demonstrations...EACH.) These were obviously select (and probably expensive to attend) seminars by Roy McAlister. He's been doing hydrogen research since the mid-1960's and has LOTS of knowledge to share. I only got through the 'Class 1' DVD. I'll have to let it sink in and re-order the 'Class 2' DVD later. Although presented in a classroom setting, Roy's knowledge takes what could be a very dry subject and makes it real by applying it to real-life instances. Highly recommended for anyone interested in fuel cells and hydrogen uses.
This "How-To" seemed to be paced just right. Well planned in advance of the presentation, it flowed along nicely and taught me a great deal. One of the best values so far. Thanks, Smartflix!
Down to earth how-to. Covers the basic operation and shows what you should be looking for on all the different types of welds. I especially liked the discussions with the videos showing the metal puddles - what's right and what's not right. Good learning experience. - - -Jim
For the beginner or intermediate player, this little instruction set on pleasant, easy to play melodies is just the ticket. The instructor doesn't talk down to you, doesn't talk too fast and the camera work is done in such a way as to show you what you need to play it too.
Highly recommended.
Just got my first drill press and thought I knew enough to jump right in! I'm very glad that I watched this video before opening the box.
The information is presented with good video work and the workpiece is easily seen. The explanations are simple and clear to understand.
The greatest value to me is the line of accessories for holding the workpiece. I knew that I really wanted something like the X-Y table, but I didn't know that was available.
