This was an excellent dvd set. I highly recommend it if you want to know more than just the basic sharpening procedures. Mike demos the different sharpening jigs on the markets as well how to hand sharpen.
I was very happy with Bill's presentation. His dry humor and explanation of the different phases of turning a bowl was very good. It was at the level I needed being a new person to wood turning. Would recommend to all beginners. David
I agree with the other reviewer. Good advertisement BUT, I never seen the closed end pen done before never heard of it from any other magazines or sale ads. I would recommend seeing it for that presentation.
A little long and boring BUT very informative. I like all of the different finishes he uses and explains all very well.
