Excellent DVD! I may finally get over my fear of the dreaded Skew Chisel. The only problem is now wanting to own it so that I can watch it over and over again. Lacer makes it look so easy but I'm sure I'm years of practice away from being even half as efficient as he is with the Skew. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning to use the Skew Chisel properly.

As a new woodturner I really appreciate the fact the instruction in this DVD is given in a very basic, easy to understand way. I haven't even tried making any pens yet, but when I do I feel that I now have a good basic understanding of what to do. I'd recommend this DVD to anyone, especially those new to turning.
I've probably watched close to 40 different DVDs on woodturning and these 3 are without a doubt the best I've seen as far as camera work and general production values. The turning instruction is also about the best I've seen. I recommend all three of them most heartily. Jimmy Clewes is an excellent instructor!!! I'll be renting his other DVDs soon and then I'll probably buy them as well. Most enjoyable. Even my wife, who doesn't turn, enjoyed them.
Excellent DVDs! Great production values and brilliant instruction. My only complaint is that he makes it look much easier than it will ever be for me. My fault, not his. Very highly recommended!!!!! .....Gord

I'd recommend this DVD set for the information very highly. However, for any entertainment there are other turning DVDs I've enjoyed much more.
Very well done DVDs. Cindy does a great job of explaining each step and the video is very clear. Thoroughly enjoyed both DVDs. Highly recommended for both beginners like myself and even for more advanced turners.
