The information was very basic at best, and the sound quality was poor. I had planned to watch the DVD on my wide screen TV but had to use my computer so I could hear him speak.
Very informative, this is for the advanced gunsmith. I did like the detailed why we do it this way he provided.

It's more for the novice that is thinking about competition shooting. If you don't know much about shotgunning you will like it.
I have shot matches with Jim and he's good. But the video is more of an infomercial than instructional video. It would be Ok to see another point of view or methods on running a shotgun.
Excellent vid, as with all of his DVDs they are very monotone you may need to replay some chapters after you wake up. As for the information and technical info very good, with a lot of how to and why. I highly recommend this for anyone that loves JB's 1911.
