Very good series. The trainer was very clear and easy to follow. The format is great because it takes you through the step by step process of modeling and animating a character. I started to do the videos creating the character that he was presenting. About half way through, I scrapped that character and followed along with him again while creating my own character. The DVDs are broken into sections so that you can easily jump to different sections as needed. If you are new to modeling, you should at most only rent the first two videos to start. There is a lot of information covered in the first video that would make it hard to reveiew and use in only a week. This series is a must rent for anyone interested in character modeling and animation.

I was able to watch about half of it and it was pretty helpful. However, Taron can be all over the place at times and his training wasn't as structured as others I've seen.
These videos are very in depth. They even walk you through a project. If you are interested in learning Vue, this is the tutorial for you.
I rented this video a few weeks ago and I should have listened to reviews on other sites. This one is horrible and that may explain why Kurv Studios yanked it from their site. It was a small price to pay in order to find this out. Sound quality was poor and it seemed as though the instructor didn’t have much of a lesson plan. He knows his stuff but is unprofessional. I would suggest renting The Essential Character Modeling & Animation by Todd Grimes. He covers much of the same information and way more professionally and in-depth.
