I thought this video was especially good for beginners. Tooling and basic techniques are explained in detail (including how to build a coal fire-which is a lot easier to understand when you can watch). I wouldnt rent this video if I considered myself "intermediate".
I liked the video but most of the techniques rely on your ability to make wood bucks as jigs to build your sheet metal forms on. Ron Covell's latest video on English wheel techniques is truly his finest. He goes into great detail explaining how metal moves as well as showing techniques with the English wheel.
Excellent. No down time or wasted video here. Uri utilized the whole video to show what can be done with no spring swages in a power hammer.
I cant imagine why this video was made. There was not enough info for more than 10 minutes and the order the small amount of info was given in didnt make any sense. A complete waste of $9.99. Dont rent this video...
Good basic intro to Bladesmithing. There are certainly times when the smith does not explain some of his terminology and assumes you know it (which doesnt seem correct for an intro video) but all and all if your interested in bladesmithing this is as good a place to start as any.
